Aeroground Distribution

Description

This is one of several repeat projects for IAT at the Vancouver International Airport. The project is a 47,000 square foot distribution facility including 35,000 square feet of warehouse with 33 dock doors including two drive-in doors. A separate dangerous goods compound as well as a refrigeration area was part of the development. The sorting area also includes a 20′ x 20′ - 20, 000 pound scale and a 10′ x 10′ scale plus re-charge and maintenance areas for forklifts and warehouse equipment.

The remaining office and customer service space houses over 70 employees.

Aeroground is an international air cargo specialist with 25 terminals world-wide.

Work included the construction of the structural steel building and fit-out of the offices as well as site development which included construction of aircraft loading aprons.
