Description

This very popular and well known market and commercial centre in Whistler required significant repairs and upgrades and the main tenant, Nester’s Market wanted to expand to meet their increasing demand. TASK was engaged as the CM to completely renovate this aging wood and timber structure while maintaining operations wherever we could.

To add to the challenge there were six existing residential suites that were occupied and a need to add another four residential units was part of the program.

The work included major renovations and code upgrades, the expansion of the market area, tenant space development for the credit union and other retail spaces, the construction of a new ’stair tower’ icon and considerable modifications to the site. TASK was also responsible for the tenant improvements and finishes for the grocery store.
