Gly-Gly-Gly-PEG4-DBCO contains a peptide sequence and DBCO group on the ends. The Gly-Gly-Gly sequence has been widely used in fusion protein applications for added flexibility. Without side chains, the sequence servies as an optional fold breaking spacer. For instance, GGGGS is one of the best fold breaking linker to expose fusion protein partner well.
