PDLA-mPEG (Poly(D-lactide)-PEG-methyl ether) is a copolymer composed of two main components: Poly(D-lactide) (PDLA) and monomethoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (mPEG) with a methyl ether end group. PDLA is a biodegradable polymer derived from D-lactic acid. It is part of the larger family of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) polymers. mPEG is a water-soluble polymer composed of repeating ethylene glycol units with a methoxy group (-OCH3) at one end.
