Poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline), α-benzyl, ω-thiol terminated refers to a modified form of the polymer poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) (PEtOx) in which the polymer chains have been modified to have a benzyl group at one end and a thiol (sulfhydryl) group at the other end. The thiol group at the end of the polymer can be used for surface modification, allowing the polymer to attach to surfaces or nanoparticles through thiol chemistry. This is useful for modifying the properties of materials or nanoparticles.
