Description

endo-BCN-PEG2-Val-Cit-PAB-MMAE is a complex molecule designed for use in the development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). endo-BCN-PEG2-Val-Cit-PAB-MMAE is conjugated to monoclonal antibodies. The endo-BCN group allows for the selective and bioorthogonal conjugation of the compound to antibodies containing complementary reactive groups. MMAE, as a cytotoxic payload, disrupts microtubule dynamics, inhibits cell division, and induces cell death selectively in the targeted cancer cells. The Val-Cit linker is designed to be cleaved within the target cell, releasing MMAE and facilitating its cytotoxic action.
