NH2 Modified Upconverting Nanoparticles (SiO2-NH2 Modified Upconverting Nanoparticles, SiO2-NH2 Modified UCNPs, Amino-Functionalized Upconverting Nanoparticles) are often designed to be biocompatible so that they can interact with biological systems without causing harm. They can be used for targeted imaging in biological systems. By attaching specific biomolecules or ligands to the amino groups, these UCNPs can selectively bind to particular cells or tissues, enabling precise imaging.
