Description

Azide-PEG3-MMAF is a synthetic molecule designed for use in the development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). The azide group is a reactive functional group that can participate in bioorthogonal click chemistry reactions, particularly azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions. PEGylation is often used to improve the pharmacokinetic properties of molecules. MMAF is a potent cytotoxic agent derived from the natural product dolastatin 10. It belongs to the auristatin family and functions as a microtubule inhibitor, disrupting microtubule dynamics in cells. Azide-PEG3-MMAF can be conjugated to monoclonal antibodies or other targeting moieties. The azide group serves as the reactive site for bioorthogonal click chemistry.
