Description

PDLLA-PEG-COOH (Poly(D,L-lactide)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-carboxylic acid) is widely used as a biocompatible and biodegradable material for drug delivery systems. The hydrophobic PDLLA segments provide encapsulation of hydrophobic drugs, while the hydrophilic PEG segments enhance solubility and stability of the formulation. The carboxyl group at the terminus of the copolymer chain allows for further modification, such as conjugation with targeting ligands or therapeutic molecules, to achieve targeted drug delivery and controlled release kinetics.
