Description

PDLLA-PEG-N3 (Poly(D,L-lactide)-b-poly(ethylene glycol)-azide) is employed in tissue engineering scaffolds and matrices for regenerative medicine applications. The biocompatible and biodegradable nature of PLGA facilitates cell adhesion, proliferation, and tissue regeneration, while the PEG block imparts enhanced mechanical properties and resistance to protein fouling. Azide functional groups allow for the incorporation of bioactive molecules, growth factors, or cell-adhesive peptides into the scaffold for enhanced tissue regeneration.
