Description

endo-BCN-PEG3-acid can be used for site-specific labeling and conjugation of biomolecules, such as proteins, peptides, or nucleic acids. The high reactivity of endo-BCN with strained alkenes, like tetrazines, in the inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reaction allows for rapid and selective bioconjugation under mild conditions. This molecule can also be conjugated to fluorescent dyes or other imaging probes for cellular imaging studies. By selectively labeling biomolecules with fluorescent tags via the IEDDA reaction, researchers can visualize and track specific cellular components or processes in real-time.
