Description

COF-10 or Covalent Organic Framework-10 is characterized by its two-dimensional (2D) layered structure composed of benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid (BTC) or its derivatives linked by boronate ester bonds. These boronate ester bonds connect the organic building blocks to form a porous network with regularly spaced pores. The high surface area and porosity of COF-10 make it suitable for gas storage applications, including the capture and storage of gases such as hydrogen, methane, or carbon dioxide. Additionally, its tunable porosity and surface chemistry make it promising for gas separation processes, where it can selectively adsorb specific gases from a mixture.
