Description

1,2-Distearoyl-sn-Glycero-3-Phosphoethanolamine (DSPE)-polyethylene glycol with conjugated cyanine 5 (DSPE-PEG-Cy5) is a conjugate of DSPE, PEG and cyanine 5. Cyanine 5 is a fluorescent dye that emits light in the far-red to near-infrared range when excited by an appropriate light source. DSPE-PEG-Cy5 is formed by attaching a Cy5 dye molecule to a DSPE-PEG backbone, enabling visualization and tracking of the labeled entities within biological systems. DSPE-PEG-Cy5 is widely used in applications such as molecular imaging, in vivo imaging, drug delivery studies, and various cellular and tissue studies.
