Description

1,2-Distearoyl-sn-Glycero-3-Phosphoethanolamine (DSPE) and NBD (nitrobenzofurazan) conjugated Polyethylene Glycol (DSPE-PEG-NBD) is a fluorescent phospholipid PEG conjugate that can be used as lipid membrane probe. The DSPE component ensures compatibility with lipid-based systems, and the PEG component enhances solubility and biocompatibility. The NBD fluorophore introduces fluorescence capabilities, allowing for monitoring of DSPE-PEG-NBD-labeled materials in experimental settings. NBD is a fluorophore that becomes fluorescent upon excitation with light in the blue to green range with excitation/emission wavelength at 460 nm/534 nm.
