Description

DBCO-PEG4-PFP ester is used to functionalize biomolecules such as proteins and peptides by reacting with primary amines (e.g., lysine residues or N-termini). It enables site-specific labeling of biomolecules for various applications in biological research and diagnostics. Additionally, after the initial coupling of DBCO-PEG4-PFP ester to a biomolecule, the DBCO group enables selective and rapid conjugation with azide-functionalized molecules via click chemistry. This reaction is highly specific and does not require copper catalysts, making it suitable for labeling delicate biomolecules and live cells.
