Description

Trans-cyclooctene (TCO)-functionalized slides are ideal for immobilizing proteins, peptides, or other biomolecules that are conjugated to tetrazines. The bioorthogonal TCO-tetrazine reaction allows for rapid and specific covalent bonding between the biomolecule and the slide surface. Moreover, TCO-functionalized slides can be used to create antibody arrays by conjugating tetrazine-labeled antibodies to the surface. These arrays can then be used for the detection of various antigens in diagnostics assays like ELISA, microarray-based assays, or high-throughput screening.
