Description

H-Orn(Boc)-2-CT Polystyrene Resin combines the pre-loading of ornithine, the protection of its amino group with a Boc (tert-butyloxycarbonyl) group, and the use of a 2-chlorotrityl (2-CT) linker to facilitate efficient and controlled peptide synthesis. This resin is compatible with either Fmoc or Boc protection strategies. Typically, the Fmoc strategy is more commonly used in modern peptide synthesis because it allows for easier deprotection, but Boc strategy can also be employed depending on the desired conditions. Polystyrene resin is an essential material for a wide range of uses in research, diagnostics, medical devices, and multiple industial applications from packaging to construction.
