Description

Fluorescent (DiI) Immunoliposomes-PDP (Non-PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder are ideal for applications in cancer therapy, gene editing, neurotherapeutics, and theranostics, offering a promising tool for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The DiI fluorescent dye provides bright fluorescence in the orange-red region (emission at 565 nm), enabling real-time monitoring of liposome distribution within biological systems. This is especially useful in imaging studies or when assessing the biodistribution of the liposomes in vivo. The PDP group contains a disulfide bond that is susceptible to reduction in a reducing environment, such as in the cytoplasm of certain cells (which have higher levels of glutathione). Once the liposomes are inside a target cell or in a specific microenvironment, the disulfide bond is cleaved, leading to release of the liposomal cargo. This mechanism can be exploited to trigger controlled release of drugs, gene therapies, or other biologic molecules at the site of interest.
