Description

DOTAP-based Fluoroliposome-Cyanine 5 lipid, Lyophilized Powder is a fluorescent lipid system used for high-sensitivity imaging, tracking, and monitoring in cellular and molecular biology applications. Cyanine 5 is a near-infrared (NIR) fluorophore that emits at around 670 nm upon excitation at 640 nm, making it particularly valuable for in vivo imaging, where deeper tissue penetration and lower background fluorescence are critical. The inclusion of Cyanine 5-labeled lipids in DOTAP-based liposomes allows for the study of lipid dynamics, membrane interactions, cellular uptake, and the behavior of drug delivery systems with a high degree of precision and in biologically relevant conditions.
