Description

PS-based Fluoroliposome-DiA, Lyophilized Powder can be used to selectively target apoptotic cancer cells or those in a senescent state. The fluorescent nature of DiA (4-(4-(Dihexadecylamino)styryl)-N-methylpyridinium iodide) allows for tracking liposome interaction with tumor cells, enabling studies on drug delivery, liposome uptake, and treatment efficiency. In addition, PS (Phosphatidylserine) exposure on cell membranes is a hallmark of apoptosis. PS-based liposomes can be used to selectively target dying cells. DiA-labeled liposomes allow for real-time tracking of apoptotic cells in animal models, providing insights into therapeutic strategies targeting cell death.
