DOTAP-based Fluoroliposome-DiD-DBCO, Lyophilized Powder is widely applicable in drug delivery, gene therapy, vaccine development, and immunotherapy, where real-time tracking, targeted delivery, and controlled release of therapeutics are crucial. The DBCO group enables strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions, a copper-free, bioorthogonal reaction that allows for selective conjugation of targeting molecules (e.g., antibodies, peptides, or small molecules) to the liposome surface. The DiD fluorophore provides a fluorescence signal in the far-red spectrum, making it ideal for in vivo imaging and tracking due to its reduced interference with tissue autofluorescence and deeper tissue penetration.
