PG-based Fluoroliposome Containing Encapsulated Dextran-Fluorescein, Lyophilized Powder is composed of phosphatidylglycerol (PG)-based lipid membranes and encapsulate a fluorescently-labeled dextran molecule conjugated to fluorescein. Phosphatidylglycerol (PG) is a negatively charged phospholipid found predominantly in bacterial membranes and certain mammalian cells. It plays a crucial role in maintaining membrane fluidity and stability. Dextran is a high-molecular-weight polysaccharide composed of glucose units linked by α-1,6 glycosidic bonds, with occasional α-1,3 branching.
