Plain Unsaturated 18:1-14:0 PC Liposomes, Lyophilized Powder are a specific class of liposomes constructed from phosphatidylcholine (PC) molecules with two distinct fatty acid chains: 18:1 (oleic acid), which is an unsaturated fatty acid, and 14:0 (myristic acid), a shorter saturated fatty acid. Due to the fluid nature of the 18:1 component, these liposomes can encapsulate a wide range of hydrophobic drugs, including anticancer agents, anti-inflammatory compounds, and antifungal agents. The 14:0 component adds stability to the liposomes, reducing the chances of premature leakage.
