Description

Fmoc-Ala Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG R PHB Resin incorporates Fmoc-Ala, low crosslinked polystyrene, polyethylene glycol (PEG), and p-hydroxybenzyl (PHB) functionalities. The Fmoc-Ala is initially bound to the resin via the p-hydroxybenzyl group, allowing for peptide elongation. The PEG component increases water solubility and reduces aggregation, making it ideal for aqueous reactions, while the p-hydroxybenzyl (PHB) component provides a reactive site for the attachment of the first amino acid. The resin’s low crosslinking allows it to swell in organic solvents, improving the efficiency of peptide coupling reactions.
