Fmoc-Asn(Trt) Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG R PHB Resin is a modified version of a standard polystyrene (PS) matrix, functionalized with Fmoc (9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl) protected asparagine (Asn) residue and Trt (trityl) as a protection group for the amine group of Asn. The primary application is in the synthesis of peptides, particularly those that contain asparagine in the sequence. The Fmoc protection system allows for efficient and controlled peptide elongation. The Trt protection on the side chain of Asn ensures that no unwanted side-chain reactions take place during synthesis.
