Description

PLGA-PEG-MAL (PLGA-PEG-Maleimide, Poly(lactide-co-glycolide)-b-Poly(ethylene glycol)-Maleimide) is a maleimide functionalized amphipathic polymer which can react with thiol molecule at pH 6.5-7.5 to form a stable thioether linkage. The polymer can self-assemble in water to form micelles where the core regions (poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA)) can be used to entrap/congregate hydrophobic drugs. LA/GA molar ratio will be 1:1 with no request. Specified molecular weight and molecular ratio may be offered by custom synthesis. Please contact us for more details.
