Fmoc-Asn(Trt) Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG R TRT Resin (Fmoc-Asn(Trt) Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG R Trityl Resin) is characterized by an Fmoc-protected asparagine derivative, a trityl (Trt)-protected side chain, a low-crosslinked polystyrene-polyethylene glycol (PS-PEG) matrix, and an R-TRT acid-labile linker. The Fmoc (fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl) group provides temporary protection for the α-amino group of asparagine, allowing for sequential peptide chain elongation without premature reactions. The trityl group specifically protects the amide functional group on the side chain of asparagine, preventing side reactions or undesired modifications during synthesis. The PS-PEG matrix enhances resin swelling in polar and aqueous solvents, while the R-TRT linker enables mild cleavage of peptides under acidic conditions. This resin is particularly suitable for synthesizing biologically active peptides and those requiring sensitive handling of functional groups.
