Fmoc-Val Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG S TRT Resin (Fmoc-Val Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG S Trityl Resin) features Fmoc (9-fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl) protection for the N-terminal amine of valine (Val), which allows for controlled and efficient peptide synthesis. The resin is characterized by its low crosslinking, a feature that improves its swelling behavior, and the inclusion of a polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker to enhance solubility, making it ideal for peptides containing hydrophobic or bulky residues like valine. The solid-phase cleavable trityl (S TRT) group enables facile cleavage of the synthesized peptide under acidic conditions.
