Description

Azide-PEG3-Val-Cit-PAB-MMAF is a complex conjugate designed for bioconjugation and drug delivery applications. Azide group can react selectively with compounds containing alkyne groups. MMAF is a cytotoxic agent that is used in antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for targeted cancer therapy. MMAF can selectively kill cancer cells when delivered specifically to those cells. The Val-Cit will specifically be cleaved by Cathepsin B. As this enzyme is only present in the lysosome, the ADC payload will be released only in the cell. PAB is a typical self-immolation spacer.
