Description

18:1 PA (DOPA) or 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate (sodium salt) is an anionic lipid. It can be used for the preparation of Zol-Ca complex nanoparticle formulations to improve the Zol delivery in mouse tumor models with enhanced distribution, as well as the enhancement of adsorption on the bacterial surface, the delivery of fluorescent groups and the targeting of the biofilm of S. aureus to improve its biofilm staining capacity in combination with a fluorescent dye, calcium phosphate. The other applications of 18:1 PA include the liposome leakage assay, the synthesis of calcium phosphate nanoshells, the study of the effects of astrocyte phospholipase D1 on dendritic branching and also the chemiluminescent assay of cytochrome c Trp59. This product is available in chloroform and powder.
