Cy5 Labeled Gold Nanoparticles (gold nanoparticles Cy5 labeled) are chemical molecules combining Cy5 and gold nanoparticles. Cy5 is a well-established near-infrared fluorescent dye that emits fluorescence in the near-infrared region of the spectrum. Gold nanoparticles can enhance the fluorescence of nearby fluorophores, including Cy5, through a phenomenon known as “plasmon-enhanced fluorescence.” Gold nanoparticles are generally biocompatible, making them suitable for biological and medical applications. When labeled with Cy5, they can be used for targeted imaging and tracking of biological molecules, cells, and tissues, including in vivo applications.
