Description

PLGA-PEG-VS (Poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide)-b-Poly(ethylene glycol)-Vinylsulfone) is a complex polymer structure composed of three main components: PLGA (Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)), PEG (Polyethylene Glycol), and VS (Vinyl Sulfone). PLGA can be customized to have different properties, including biodegradation rate and drug release kinetics, by adjusting its molecular weight and the ratio of lactic acid to glycolic acid. Vinyl sulfone is a chemical group that contains a sulfone functional group attached to a vinyl group (double bond). Vinyl sulfone groups are highly reactive and can participate in Michael addition reactions with nucleophilic groups, such as thiols (-SH) and amines (-NH2). VS is commonly used in bioconjugation and protein modification applications. LA/GA molar ratio will be 1:1 with no request.
