100nm DOPC/CHOL/mPEG-DSPE Liposomes labeled with Oregon Green 488 DHPE, Lyophilized Powder are used for bioimaging, lipid dynamics studies, and drug delivery research. The Oregon Green 488 fluorophore provides high fluorescence intensity and is useful for live-cell imaging, tracking liposome behavior, and studying various cellular processes such as uptake, fusion, and membrane interactions. DOPC provides the fundamental structure for the liposome membrane. Its unsaturated fatty acid chains confer flexibility and fluidity, making it suitable for studies of membrane dynamics, fusion, and drug delivery. Cholesterol stabilizes the lipid bilayer and controls its fluidity. It also influences membrane organization, promoting the formation of lipid rafts, which are important for protein sorting and signal transduction.
