2-Deoxy-2-fluoro-D-glucose 6-Phosphate Dipotassium Salt (Potassium ((2R,3S,4S,5R)-5-Fluoro-3,4,6-trihydroxytetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)methyl Phosphate) is a derivative of glucose, with modifications at the 2-position (fluorination) and the addition of a phosphate group at the 6-position. The dipotassium salt form indicates that the compound includes two potassium ions for solubility and stability. The fluorine atom in the compound allows it to be used as a radiotracer in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging.
