22:0 PC (DDocPC) or 1,2-dibehenoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine is a specific type of phosphatidylcholine (PC) lipid molecule. Phosphatidylcholines are a class of phospholipids that are major components of cell membranes and play essential roles in various cellular processes. 22:0 PC can be used to study its effects on non-amyloidogenic processing of amyloid precursor protein (APP)/α-secretase activity, and to prepare a lipid monolayer to study whether ligand is specifically targeted to domains containing Cu(II)-iminodiacetate lipid (Cu-PSIDA). This product is available in chloroform and powder.
