Description

3,4-Dibromo-Mal-PEG2-Boc-Amine consist of a 3,4-dibromomaleimide group connected to a PEG chain containing two ethylene glycol units, with an amine group protected by a Boc group. The Boc-protected amine group can be selectively deprotected under mild conditions, allowing for further peptide synthesis or conjugation reactions with other molecules. The maleimide group in the compound can react specifically with thiol (-SH) groups, forming stable thioether bonds.
