Description

4,4′-(Pyrene-2,7-diyl)dianiline consists of a central pyrene core with two amino groups (-NH2) attached at the 4th and 4′ positions. Pyrene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon composed of four fused benzene rings arranged in a rectangular structure. The amino groups provide the compound with basic properties. Due to the inherent fluorescence of pyrene, derivatives such as 4,4′-(Pyrene-2,7-diyl)dianiline can be used as fluorescent probes in various analytical and biological applications, including fluorescence microscopy and sensing.
