4,4′-(benzo-2,1,3-thiadiazole-4,7-diyl)dianiline (BD) is a derivative of benzo[2,1,3]thiadiazole, which is a heterocyclic aromatic compound containing a seven-membered ring with two nitrogen atoms, one sulfur atom, and four carbon atoms. In this compound, two aniline (aminobenzene) groups are attached to the benzo[2,1,3]thiadiazole ring at the 4 and 4′ positions.
