ACRL-PLA-PEG-ALK (Acrylate-Poly(L-lactide)-b-Poly(ethylene glycol)-Alkyne) is a block copolymer that consists of acrylate, poly(L-lactide), poly(ethylene glycol), and alkyne moieties. The biodegradable nature of poly(L-lactide) makes this copolymer suitable for drug delivery applications. The PEG block can enhance the polymer’s water solubility and biocompatibility.
