Alkyne-GO/AgNPs/luminol is a multifunctional composite material that integrates alkyne-functionalized graphene oxide, silver nanoparticles, and luminol. Graphene Oxide (GO) is a derivative of graphene with oxygen-containing groups (e.g., hydroxyl, epoxy) that increase its solubility and functionality. AgNPs exhibit strong surface plasmon resonance, which can be utilized for sensing applications and as a catalyst in various chemical reactions. Luminol is used in chemiluminescence assays, luminol emits light when it reacts with an oxidizing agent, making it useful for detecting various substances. Luminol enables detection through chemiluminescence, where light emission indicates the presence of target analytes. The combination of alkyne-GO and AgNPs enhances the sensitivity and selectivity of the sensor. GO provides a large surface area for binding, while AgNPs can enhance the signal.
