Description

Amino-Functionalized CdSe/ZnS Quantum Dots are nanoparticles composed of a core-shell structure, with a CdSe core and a ZnS shell, and functionalized with amino groups on their surface. Amino-functionalized CdSe/ZnS quantum dots are widely used as fluorescent probes for cellular and in vivo imaging. Their bright and stable fluorescence emission properties, combined with biocompatible core-shell structures and versatile surface chemistry, make them valuable tools for visualizing biological structures and processes at the cellular and molecular levels. Additionally, they can serve as carriers for delivering therapeutic agents, such as drugs or nucleic acids, to target cells or tissues. The large surface area and functional groups on the nanoparticles allow for the loading of therapeutic payloads and the attachment of targeting ligands, enabling site-specific drug delivery and controlled release.
