Description

Azide-PEG-Thiol (N3-PEG-SH) is a heterobifunctional PEG derivative with azide and thiol terminus. Azide can react with alkyne via click chemistry. Thiol can react with maleimida via thiother bond formation. Thiol-PEG-Azide is often used in click chemistry reactions, particularly in CuAAC or SPAAC reactions, to create stable and selective covalent bonds between azides and alkynes. This allows for bioconjugation and labeling with high efficiency and specificity.
