Azido-PEG1-Val-Cit-PAB-OH is a cleavable ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADC). Azide is commonly used in bioconjugation reactions, particularly in “click chemistry,” where they can react selectively with alkyne or other suitable groups. The Val-Cit is specifically cleaved by cathepsin B. PAB-OH is frequently used as a linker to attach other molecules, such as drugs or imaging agents, to a targeting ligand.
