Description

Azido-PEG4-Val-Cit-PAB-MMAE is a precursor of antibody drug conjugate. It contains an azido-PEG4 spacer, a protease-sensitive Val-Cit dipeptide, a PABC linker and a MMAE payload. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The MMAE is a synthetic antineoplastic agent. It acts as a potent mitotic inhibitor by inhibiting tubulin polymerization. Valine-citrulline is a common lysosomal cleavable dipeptide. PAB is a typical self-immolation spacer.
