Description

Biotin-PEG3-SS-DBCO integrates the specific binding properties of biotin with the flexibility of a PEG spacer, the redox-responsive nature of a disulfide bond, and the bioorthogonal reactivity of a DBCO group. The disulfide bond in Biotin-PEG3-SS-DBCO allows for the design of redox-responsive systems. By cleaving the disulfide bond with reducing agents, such as DTT, biotinylated molecules can be released from streptavidin-conjugated surfaces or carriers, enabling controlled release in drug delivery or bioseparation applications.
