Description

(+)-Biotin-PEG6-acid can be activated for bioorthogonal conjugation reactions with amine-reactive crosslinkers or probes. This approach allows for specific labeling or modification of biomolecules under physiological conditions without interfering with native biological processes. In addition, biotinylated molecules prepared with (+)-Biotin-PEG6-acid can be used in multivalent binding studies, where multiple biotin molecules enhance the avidity of interactions with streptavidin or avidin, useful in studying protein-protein interactions or receptor-ligand binding kinetics.
