Description

Biotin-PEG8-Bromide can be used in ELISA to detect the presence of specific antigens in a sample. Biotinylated antibodies or antigens can be immobilized on a solid surface, such as a microplate, and then detected using streptavidin-conjugated enzymes and chromogenic substrates. In IP experiments, proteins of interest are pulled down using specific antibodies coupled to a solid support, such as magnetic beads. Biotin-PEG8-Bromide can be used to label antibodies for this purpose, enabling efficient capture of protein complexes for downstream analysis.
