Description

Boc-Val-Ala-PAB-PNP is a cathepsin cleavable linker for bio-conjugation that contains a terminal PNP group. The Val-Ala is effectively cleaved by lysosomal proteolytic enzymes while being highly stable in human plasma. The Val-Ala linker is cleaved at half the rate of the Val-Cit linker, but it also exhibited lower hydrophobicity, which can prevent aggregation and precipitation of the conjugated biomolecules.
