Description

Bromoacetamido-PEG5-DOTA is a molecule composed of a bromoacetamide group, a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain with five ethylene glycol units, and the DOTA (1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid) chelator. DOTA is a chelating agent capable of complexing with various radiometals, such as gallium-68 (^68Ga) and lutetium-177 (^177Lu). These radiometal complexes can be used as radiotracers for PET imaging or targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT). The bromoacetamido group can serve as a conjugation site for biomolecules, such as antibodies, peptides, or small molecules. By attaching targeting moieties to Bromoacetamido-PEG5-DOTA and subsequently chelating it with radiometals, researchers can create targeted imaging probes for specific biological targets, such as tumors or disease markers.
