Description

Cy7.5 Inulin refers to a compound consisting of Inulin, a polysaccharide, labeled with the fluorescent dye Cy7.5. Inulin is a naturally occurring polysaccharide that belongs to the fructan group. It consists of repeating units of fructose molecules linked by β(2→1) glycosidic bonds with a terminal glucose molecule. Inulin is commonly found in plants such as chicory roots, Jerusalem artichokes, and dahlia tubers. Due to its unique properties, including solubility, biocompatibility, and resistance to digestion, inulin finds various applications in food, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Cy7.5 is a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye belonging to the cyanine dye family. It emits light in the near-infrared spectrum, making it suitable for bioimaging applications, especially in vivo imaging studies where deep tissue penetration is required. Cy7.5 is widely used as a contrast agent in fluorescence microscopy, molecular imaging, and in vivo imaging due to its excellent photostability and low background fluorescence in biological samples.
